I don’t talk about it much, but I’m a lifelong painter. Although digital mediums make up a large part of my current body of work, the fulfillment and challenge inherent in the act of applying paint to canvas is simply unmatched. There’s something deeply soul-nourishing about transforming a collection of amorphous ideas, feelings, and themes into something tangible.
