Old r/bitcoin Theme

March 2014

As a longtime member of r/bitcoin, I watched the subreddit gain popularity alongside bitcoin’s rise. I took it upon myself to propose a custom subreddit theme to elevate our community’s presence in light of this increased attention. This theme was in place until Reddit Inc’s site-wide redesign.

New r/bitcoin Theme

May 2018

I reached out to u/BashCo to head up creating a theme for the Reddit redesign template system.

This new theme incorporates Reddit’s mascot “Snoo” hand-illustrated in a style consistent with Reddit’s modern interpretation of the character.

This is the current New Reddit theme for the subreddit.
